Freedom!

Freedom at last!  I am going to be quilting till my heart's content for the next 3 weeks!  You cannot imagine how excited I am to be cutting up fabrics, looking at beautiful prints and colours and to hear the sound of the sewing machine.  Second semester of school is over and the last two weeks was... lets just say I would not want to re-live it again.  Though, I have a funny feeling those moments will be part of my life for the next 2 years until I finish this degree.  Oh well, I will cross that bridge when I get there.

In the meantime, I have cut into these lovely Full Moon Lagoon by Mo Bedelle to make a twin size snowball quilt for my god-daughter.  I am in love with this fabric line.  The colours are so refreshing and beautifully coordinated.  It makes me feel so happy and cheerful having to focus my eyes on these lovely prints

I have also cut these little mini 1.5" x 1.5" squares of pink shade fabrics I have on hand (pink is also my god-daughter's favourite colour).  I hope these will hopefully go together with the main fabric and white solid fabric that I will be using.

I hope the quilt will turn out the way I have envisioned it in my head.  I will try to post my progress on the blog as often as I can but for now... it's pretty trimmings and happy quilting to you all.

Thank you for stopping by xx
